Dr. Helene Rogniaux is a senior scientist at the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) in the BIA research unit. She works in the BIBS platform, which develops innovative methods for the structural characterization of bioresources and bioproducts with the aim to better understand the structure-function relationships in these systems.
Helene has over 20 years of experience in mass spectrometry (MS) applied to biopolymers. She is particularly interested in developing state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based methods to improve the structural characterization of oligo/polysaccharides. This includes high-energy MS/MS activation techniques (XUV-DPI, He-CTD) and ion mobility mass spectrometry. She has also pioneered MS imaging of cell wall polysaccharides in cereal tissues. She is the author of approximately 125 peer-reviewed papers in the field of mass spectrometry.
