I completed my internship, research fellowship, and residency at the University of Pittsburgh in otolaryngology-head & neck surgery and a clinical fellowship in neurotology and skull base surgery at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles. I am currently the Chair of the William House Cochlear Implant Study Group and the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing (JCIH). I was also a Founding Board Member of the American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACIA) and a past Chairman of the Board. Dr. Buchman has published extensively in the peer-reviewed literature and his investigative interests center on the utility of auditory evoked responses and outcomes in the field of otology and neurotology.
