high speed droplet-based delivery system for passive pumping in microfluidic devices

소설 microfluidic 시스템은 수동 사용자 제어 기반의 비말 유체 전달 시스템과 함께 펌프의 현상을 사용하는 개발되었습니다. 수동 펌프는 표면 장력이 닫힌 채널의 압력 차이 드라이브 유체의 움직임을 유도하는 현상입니다. 자동 유체 전달 시스템은 유체 저수지 및 제어 시스템에 연결된 마이크로 노즐과 전압 제어 밸브의 집합으로 구성되어 있습니다. 이 전압 제어 밸브는 높은 주파수 방식으로 microfluidic 장치의 입구에 유체 방울을 제공하는 volumetrically 정확한 방법을 제공합니다. 현재 공부 예제에서 보여주는 차원에 따라 시스템은 분당 4 밀리리터를 (260um 횡단면 채널에 의해 2.2mm를 통해) 흐르는이 가능합니다. 이 같은 채널 크기에 따라, 채널 내부 지점의 유체 교환으로 작은 여덟 밀리초 단위로 얻을 수 있습니다. 이것은 시스템의 운동량 (채널에있는 밸브 및 유체 속도에 의해 생성된 방울의 조합으로 이수)와 액체의 표면 장력 간의 상호 작용이있다는 것을 관찰합니다. 기세가 유체 흐름 (또는 그 반대)에 속도를 제공 어디서 입구에서 표면 장력의 평균은 어떤 흐름을 갑자기 중지를 제공합니다. 이 갑자기 중단은 사용자가 채널의 흐름 특성을 제어할 수 및 시약 공급에서 약물 세포 연구 어디까지, 생물 응용 프로그램의 다양한 문을 엽니다. 또한 노즐이 얕은 각도 입구 목적으로하는 경우, 비말의 기세가 같은 입구 여러 방울의 혼합으로 추가 흥미로운 유체 현상을 일으킬 수있는 관찰입니다.
