Hier präsentieren wir einige der wichtigsten wichtige Entdeckungen mit dem Opener neuromuskulären (NMJ) Vorbereitung von Krebstieren hergestellt und zeigen, dass es noch viel von diesem Modell Vorbereitung zu lernen. In das Verständnis der Geschichte kann man verstehen, warum auch heute noch dieses NMJ bietet immer noch ein reiches Betätigungsfeld, um Fragen zu Pre-und Post-synaptischen Funktion und Plastizität Adresse. Die Lebensfähigkeit und einen leichten Zugang zum Terminal für die intrazelluläre als auch extrazelluläre Elektrophysiologie und Bildgebung erhebliche Vorteile. Die Mechanismen, die hinter der Modulation der vesikulären Kinetik und Fusion in der High-und Low-Output-Terminals sind für die Untersuchung Betteln. Die Vorbereitung bietet auch eine überprüfbare Modellsystem für Computational Einschätzungen und Manipulationen an wichtigen Variablen in theoretischen Modellen der synaptischen Funktion zu untersuchen, zum Beispiel Calcium-Dynamik während der kurzzeitigen Erleichterung. Die synaptischen Komplexität der aktiven Zone und der statistischen Natur des quantal Version ist auch eine offene Umgebung für zukünftige Untersuchungen sowohl experimentell als auch rechnerisch.
