Um das 3D-gedruckte Direct Plant Infusion- oder DPI-Gerät am Stamm der Pflanze zu befestigen, suchen Sie sich eine glatte, gesunde Stelle am Stamm ohne Beulen oder Knoten. Bohren Sie mit einem Bohrer mit einem Durchmesser von zwei Millimetern horizontal ein Loch durch die Mitte des Schaftes in einem Winkel von 90 Grad zur Stammoberfläche. Führen Sie den Bohrer mehrmals durch das Loch, um ein ungehindertes, glattes Loch zu erzeugen.
Erstellen Sie dann eine vertikale Scheibe im Plastisolring auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Verbindungszufuhrkanals. Legen Sie den Ring um die Pflanze und richten Sie den Zuführkanal an dem zuvor gebohrten Loch aus. Befestigen Sie das DPI-Gerät am Plastisolring, stellen Sie sicher, dass sie eng zusammenpassen, und richten Sie den Auslauf des DPI-Geräts mit dem Plastisolring-Zuführkanal und dem Bohrloch aus.
Wickeln Sie es fest mit Silikonklebeband ein, um das Gerät an Ort und Stelle zu halten. Überprüfen Sie das vollständig montierte und angebrachte Gerät, um die richtige Ausrichtung und Ausrichtung sicherzustellen. Die Rille um den vertikalen Kanal ermöglichte eine zusätzliche Aufnahme der Verbindung durch die Rinde.
Bei richtiger Montage spülte der Plastisolring gegen das DPI-Gerät und der Ausguss richtete sich mit einem in den Baum gebohrten Loch aus.
