Reinigen Sie zunächst alle Oberflächen des Kupferkühlblocks mit 70%Ethanol in der Wasserkühlung. Tragen Sie Handschuhe und tragen Sie eine dünne und gleichmäßige Schicht von ca. 0,4 Gramm Wärmeleitpaste auf eine Oberfläche des Kupfer-Wasserkühlblocks auf. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Oberflächenausrichtung verhindert, dass sich die Rohre kreuzen oder biegen.
Reinigen Sie in ähnlicher Weise die heiße Oberfläche des Peltiers mit 70%igem Ethanol und tragen Sie die Wärmeleitpaste auf die Oberfläche auf. Verbinden Sie die heiße Peltieroberfläche mit der Oberfläche des Kupferkühlblocks mit Wärmeleitpaste gemäß der Ausrichtung des Drahtes. Üben Sie Druck aus, um es zu sichern, und reinigen Sie die überschüssige Wärmeleitpaste.
Stellen Sie dann sicher, dass das 12-Volt-Netzteil und das abstimmbare Netzteil ausgeschaltet sind. Verbinden Sie das rote Kabel des Peltiers mit einem Krokodilklemme mit dem positiven Ausgang und das schwarze Kabel mit dem negativen Ausgang des abstimmbaren Netzteils. Nachdem Sie die Anschlüsse der Elektro- und Wasserkühlungsbaugruppe erneut überprüft haben, schalten Sie das 12-Volt-Netzteil und das abstimmbare Netzteil nacheinander ein.
Drehen Sie das abstimmbare Netzteil allmählich auf 12 Volt, so dass der Strom mit dem vorgeschlagenen Peltier etwa sechs Ampere betragen sollte. Messen Sie nach zwei Minuten die Temperatur mit einem Infrarot-Thermometer, ohne die kalte Oberfläche zu berühren, die kälter als minus 35 Grad Celsius sein sollte.
