Normal ve kusurlu embriyonik gelişim sürücü ve genetik microenvironmental faktörler arasındaki ilişkilerin anlaşılması ve yeni tedavi stratejileri keşfetmek için esastır. Görüntüleme teknolojisindeki gelişmeler, organizasyon ve vücut planı olgunlaşması kantitatif araştırma etkin, ancak daha sonraki bir aşamada embriyonik morfolojilerinden daha az açıktır. Tavuk embriyolar kültür ve cerrahi manipülasyon kolaylığı nedeniyle bu uygulama için cazip bir omurgalı hayvan model sistem. Erken embriyolar, hücre desenlendirme ve kader çalışmaları 1,2 tam optik erişim sağlayan filtre kağıdı yüzük, kısa bir süre için kültür olabilir .
