Hypophysite auto-immune est une inflammation chronique de la glande pituitaire provoqué ou accompagné d&#39;une auto-immunité. Il a traditionnellement été considérée comme une maladie rare, mais des rapports a nettement augmenté ces dernières années. Hypophysite, en fait, il n&#39;est pas rare que se développe un «effet secondaire» chez les patients cancéreux traités avec des anticorps qui bloquent les récepteurs inhibiteurs exprimés sur les lymphocytes T, tels que CTLA-4 2 et PD-1 récepteurs. Hypophysite auto-immunes peuvent être induite expérimentalement en injectant des souris avec des protéines pituitaires mélangé avec un adjuvant 3.
