protocol for mosquito rearing (a. gambiae)

Dit protocol beschrijft mug opvoeding in de insectary. De insectary kamers zijn gehandhaafd op 28 ° C en ~ 80% luchtvochtigheid, met een 12 uur. dag / nacht cyclus. Voor deze procedure moet u mug kooien, 10% steriele sucrose-oplossing, papieren handdoeken, beker, Whatman filter papier, glas feeders, menselijk bloed en serum, waterbad, parafilm, gedestilleerd water, schone plastic trays, mug voedsel (zoals beschreven hieronder), muskietennet aan de trays, vacuüm, en een verzameling afdekklepje voor volwassenen te verzamelen.
