Bij chronische opname experimenten, zelf-uithardende tandheelkundige acrylharsen is gebruikt als een montageplaat van elektroden of microdialyse-probes. Aangezien deze acryl niet bond tot op het bot, zijn schroeven zijn gebruikt als ankers. Echter, in kleine proefdieren, zoals vinken of de muis, hun schedels zijn zeer fragiel en kan niet met succes Houd de ankers. In dit rapport stellen we een nieuwe toepassing van licht-uithardende tandheelkundige harsen voor montageplaat van elektroden of microdialyse probes in chronische experimenten. Ervaringen uit het verleden tonen aan dat de hechting effect houdt langer dan 2 maanden. Conventionele hars het venster van de tijd wanneer de materialen zijn plooibaar en werkbaar is een paar minuten. Echter, het raam van de arbeidstijd voor deze tandheelkundige lijmen is aanzienlijk breder en verstelbaar.
