Den stadig voksende mus fortann gir en modell for å studere fornyelse av tannvev fra dental epitel stamceller (DESCs). Et robust system for konsekvent og pålitelig måte å skaffe disse cellene fra fortann og utvide dem in vitro er rapportert her.
