녹내장은 돌이킬 수없는 실명 1의 세계에서 두 번째 주요 원인이다. 상승 된 안압 (IOP)을 녹내장 2-7의 존재 및 진행에 대한 주요 원인 위험 인자이다. &#160; 안압은 방수 (8)의 형성과 유출의 균형에 의해 조절된다. 큰 유출 저항의 위치가 조직과 juxtacanicular Schlemm 운하 (SC)의 내벽, SC 및 섬유주 (TM) 9-11 사이의 인터페이스이다.
