Beide Systeme bieten gute Schätzungen der linksventrikulären Volumen und die Unterschiede zwischen ihnen sind nicht geeignet, physiologisch signifikant ist. Das zylindrische Modell des Ventrikels und anderen Annahmen machen diese katheterbasierte Ansätze nicht so genau wie die anderen Modalitäten, aber diese Daten werden auf einer Beat-by-Beat-Basis zur Verfügung gestellt, die für die Beurteilung der lastunabhängigen Maßnahmen der Herzfunktion wesentlich ist. Das hier beschriebene Verfahren ist in meinem Labor verwendet und hat sich für eine große Anzahl von Studien zur Verfügung gestellten Daten , die grundlegenden pathophysiologischen Mechanismen der dystrophischen Kardiomyopathie Prüfung 18.12. Die folgende Vorgehensweise skizziert ist eine von zwei, die verwendet werden können, um PV Schleifendaten erhalten. Während viele der Grundsätze für die beiden Ansatz anwendbar sind, wird dieses Protokoll auf eine offene Brust apikal Ansatz konzentrieren; ein geschlossener Brust - Protokoll wurde an anderer Stelle ausführlich 19,20. Während das Verfahren im Detail beschrieben werden, die wichtige übergeordneten Prinzipien sind das Herz mit minimalem Schaden entweder an das Herz oder die Lunge zu belichten. Während des Protokolls ist es wichtig, sich daran zu erinnern, dass dies ein nicht-Überleben Verfahren ist und dass eine gute Belichtung des Herzens, die ist von entscheidender Bedeutung für die richtige Platzierung des Katheters.
