Para utilizar de forma fiable exosomas aisladas de la bilis, es importante emplear los métodos de aislamiento de alta calidad consistentes para obtener muestras de alta calidad a cambio. Al igual que otros fluidos biológicos, es decir, la leche materna, plasma u orina, bilis contiene lípidos exosomas, vesículas ricas 1-4. Los exosomas pueden inducir o alterar las funciones biológicas en células receptoras 5, 6, una forma de comunicación célula-célula que podría ser parte de su función normal 4, 7-9. Los exosomas pueden contener especies miARN que pueden proporcionar una valiosa fuente de biomarcadores para el diagnóstico 10. perfiles de miRNAs han ganado considerable atención en los últimos años como marcadores de diagnóstico y pronóstico para una variedad de enfermedades 11-14. sí miARN puede encontrarse en fluidos biológicos, posiblemente liberada por las células muertas y la cantidad de células que se desprenden pueden ser influenciados en gran medida por una enfermedad subyacente.
