광학 현미경 (~ 200 nm)의 회절 한계를 극복하기 위해 다양한 초고 해상도 현미경 기술이 개발되었습니다. 이 중에는 PALM (optical-activation localization microscopy)과 STORM (stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy)이 포함 된 단일 분자 위치 확인 현미경 (SMLM)이라는 기술 범주가 있습니다.
