بيبتويدس يتم التحكم في تسلسل ليغومرات محاكاة الببتيد تتكون من وحدات جليكاين N-يؤلكل. بين العديد من التطبيقات المحتملة، وقد فكرت بيبتويدس كنوع من تخزين المعلومات الجزيئية. واعتبر تحليل الطيف الكتلي الأسلوب المفضل للتسلسل بيبتويدس. يمكن توليفها بيبتويدس عن طريق الكيمياء المرحلة الصلبة استخدام دورة رد فعل خطوتين مكرر. هنا نقدم طريقة لتجميع يدوياً اليغو-بيبتويدس وتحليل تسلسل بيبتويدس استخدام تقنيات الطيف الكتلي (MS/MS) جنبا إلى جنب. بيبتويد عينة من نونامير تتكون من N-(2-ميثيلوكسيثيل) جليكاين (Nme) و N-(2-فينيليثيل) جليكاين (Npe)، فضلا عن N-(2-أمينو إيثايل) جليكاين (دار الوثائق) في ن-المحطة بالتناوب. صيغة تسلسل بيبتويد Ac-Nae-(Npe-Nme)4-NH2، حيث التيار المتردد مجموعة أسيتيل. التوليف يأخذ مكان في سفينة رد فعل المرحلة الصلبة متاحة تجارياً. الراتنج أميد حلبة كدعم قوي تسفر عن بيبتويد مع مجموعة أميد في ج-المحطة. وناتج بيبتويد يخضع لتحليل تسلسل استخدام مطياف شامل ثلاثي-الرباعي بالإضافة إلى مصدر تاين اليكتروسبراي. قياس MS/MS تنتج طائفة أيونات الشظايا الناجمة عن التفكك بيبتويد مشحونة. يتم فرز الأيونات يفتت استناداً إلى قيم نسبة الكتلة بتهمة (m/z). تتم مقارنة القيم m/z من الأيونات جزء ضد الجماهير الأسمى من أيونات يفتت المتوقع نظرياً، وفقا لمخطط تجزئة بيبتويد. التحليل يولد نمط تجزئة من بيبتويد التهمة الموجهة إليه. يرتبط نمط التجزؤ إلى تسلسل مونومر بيبتويد محايدة. وفي هذا الصدد، تحليل مرض التصلب العصبي المتعدد يقرأ المعلومات التسلسل بيبتويدس.
