In dit protocol zijn er verschillende kritische stappen. Eerste, mechanische stabiliteit is van cruciaal belang in de bereiding van de monsters. Oppervlakte plasmon gemedieerde fluorescentie (SPMF) heeft aanzienlijke aandacht gekregen onlangs1,2,3,4,5,6. Wanneer licht vervuilers worden geplaatst in de nabijheid van een Enterprise systeem, kan energie worden overgedragen tussen de vervuilers en oppervlakte plasmon polaritons (SPPs). In het algemeen kunnen de sterke Enterprise velden sterk verbeteren de excitatie van de vervuilers2. Op hetzelfde moment, is het percentage van de uitstoot ook verhoogd vanwege de grote dichtheid-van-toestanden aangemaakt door SPPs, opbrengst van de bekende Purcell effect3. Deze twee processen werken hand in hand bij het opstellen van de SPMF. Als SPMF heeft talrijke toepassingen in Solid state lighting1,4, energie oogsten van5en6van het bio-detectie, stimuleerde is het momenteel onder intensief onderzoek. Met name de kennis van de overdrachtsnelheden van de energie van de SPPs naar de vervuilers en vice versa, dat wil zeggen, de excitatie en het koppelen van tarieven, is van groot belang. Echter, de excitatie en emissie processen zijn meestal elkaar verstrikt, studie op dit aspect ontbreekt nog. Bijvoorbeeld, bepalen de meeste studies alleen de efficiencyratio excitatie, die gewoon de uitstoot met en zonder SPPs7 vergelijkt. De nauwkeurige meting van de excitatie-tarief ontbreekt nog. Aan de andere kant, resolved conventionele time-technieken zoals levensduur Fluorescentiespectroscopie worden routinematig gebruikt voor het bestuderen van de dynamiek van de emissie-proces, maar ze zijn niet in staat om te scheiden van het tarief van de koppeling van het totale verval tarief8. Hier beschrijven we hoe men hen kan bepalen door het model van de vergelijking tarief en de temporele gekoppelde modus theorie9,10te combineren. Opvallend, vinden wij dat de excitatie en het koppelen van de tarieven kunnen worden uitgedrukt in termen van meetbare grootheden, welke toegankelijk zijn door het uitvoeren van hoek - en polarisatie-resolved reflectiviteit en fotoluminescentie spectroscopie. Wij zullen eerst een overzicht van de formulering en vervolgens de instrumentatie in detail te beschrijven. Deze benadering is volledig frequentiedomein gebaseerd en op doet niet vergen geen time-resolved accessoires zoals ultra-snelle lasers en tijd-gecorreleerde single-photon tellers, die zijn duur en soms moeilijk uit te voeren van8, 11. Wij verwachten dat deze techniek om een inschakelen technologie voor de bepaling van de excitatie en koppeling tussen licht vervuilers en resonant Holten.
De SPMF in periodieke systemen is hier ingelicht. Voor een periodiek Enterprise systeem waar Bloch-achtige SPPs kunnen worden gegenereerd, dan directe excitatie en emissie, die worden gekenmerkt door de excitatie-efficiëntie η en spontane emissie tarief Γr, de stralers kunnen worden opgewonden door inkomende SPPs en verval via de uitgaande SPPs. Met andere woorden, onder resonantie excitatie, worden inkomende SPPs gegenereerd om te maken van sterke Enterprise velden die energieke de stralers. Zodra de stralers enthousiast zijn, kan energie van hen worden overgedragen aan uitgaande SPPs, die vervolgens stralings naar ver-veld verdrijven, die aanleiding geven tot verbeterde emissie. Zij bepalen de SPMF. Voor eenvoudige twee-niveau vervuilers verwijst de excitatie naar de verhoogde overgang van elektronen uit de grond naar de opgewonden Staten overwegende dat de uitstoot het verval van elektronen terug naar de Staten van de grond definieert, begeleid door photon emission bij golflengten gedefinieerd door het energieverschil tussen de opgewonden en gemalen. De excitatie en emissie voorwaarden voor de SPMF zijn vereist om te voldoen aan de bekende fase bijpassende vergelijking te prikkelen de inkomende en uitgaande SPPs9

Voor excitatie, zullen de in-plane-wavevector van de laserstraal Bragg verspreid naar impuls wedstrijd met de inkomende SPPs en de θ en φ samen bepalen de opgegeven incident configuratie voor het spannende van het SPPs ter verbetering van de elektronische absorptie bij de excitatie golflengte λex. Ook voor de emissie zullen de uitgaande SPPs omgekeerd Bragg verspreid om te matchen met de lichtlijn en de hoeken vertegenwoordigen nu de mogelijke emissie-kanalen op de emissie golflengte λem. determination of the excitation and coupling rates between light emitters and surface plasmon polaritons

We hebben een unieke methode voor het meten van de excitatie en het koppelen van tarieven tussen de lichte vervuilers en oppervlakte plasmon polaritons (SPPs) die voortvloeien uit metalen periodieke matrices zonder tussenkomst van time-resolved technieken ontwikkeld. Door de hoeveelheden die kunnen worden gemeten door eenvoudige optische metingen hebben wij de tarieven geformuleerd. De instrumentatie op basis van hoek - en polarisatie-resolved reflectiviteit en fotoluminescentie spectroscopie worden hier in detail beschreven. Onze benadering is intrigerend vanwege zijn eenvoud, die houdt van routine optica en mechanische etappes, en dus is zeer betaalbaar voor de meeste van de onderzoekslaboratoria.

Een voorbeeld van een periodieke Au-matrix wordt gegeven in de inzet van figuur 4a8. Het vliegtuig view SEM-beeld toont aan dat het monster een 2D vierkant rooster circulaire gat matrix met een periode van 510 nm, een gat diepte van 280 nm, en een gat diameter van 140 nm.
