Denne artikel præsenterer en total interne reflection absorption spektroskopi (TIRAS) metode til at måle kortlivede frie radikaler på en plasma-flydende interface. Især TIRAS bruges til at identificere solvated elektroner baseret på deres optiske absorbansen af rødt lys i nærheden af 700 nm.
