De interactie van water met de oppervlakken van vaste stoffen zijn betrokken bij verschillende processen van de oppervlakte reactie, zoals heterogene katalyse, photoconversion, elektrochemie, corrosie en smering et al. 1 , 2 , 3 In het algemeen, om te onderzoeken Interfaciale water, spectroscopische en diffractie technieken worden vaak gebruikt, zoals infrarood en Ramanspectroscopie, som-frequentie generatie (SFG), X-ray diffractie (XRD), nucleaire magnetische resonantie (NMR), neutronen verstrooiing4,5,,6,,7,8. Aan de NaCl(001) Au-ondersteunde films geadsorbeerde water biedt een ideaal systeem voor atoomschaal onderzoek door STM met een Cl-beëindigd tip (Figuur 1een), die wordt uitgevoerd met 5 K in de omgeving (UHV) met-vacuüm met een base druk beter dan 8 × 10-11 mbar. Aan de ene kant ontkoppeling de isolerende NaCl films watermoleculen elektronisch van de Au-substraat zodat de inheemse grens orbitalen van water worden bewaard en de levensduur van de elektronen die woonachtig zijn in de moleculaire resonant staat wordt verlengd. Aan de andere kant, kon de STM-tip effectief tune de frontier-orbital water richting de EF via tip-water koppeling, vooral wanneer de tip is matiemaatschappij met een Cl-atoom. Deze belangrijke stappen inschakelen met een hoge resolutie orbitale beeldvorming en Vibrationele spectroscopie van water monomeren en clusters. Daarnaast kunnen watermoleculen worden gemanipuleerd op een goed gecontroleerde wijze, als gevolg van de sterke elektrostatische interactie tussen de negatief geladen Cl-tip en water.
In dit verslag zijn de procedures van de voorbereiding van het monster en de Cl-beëindigd tip voor STM onderzoek beschreven in detail in deel 1 en 2, respectievelijk. In sectie 3 beschrijven we de orbital imaging techniek, waaraan de directionaliteit van de O-H van water monomeer en tetrameer zijn opgelost. De tip-enhanced IETS is geïntroduceerd in sectie 4, waardoor de detectie van vibrationele vervoerswijzen watermoleculen op single-band beperken, en bepaling van de sterkte van de H-lijmen met hoge nauwkeurigheid van de rode de verschuiving in de rekken van de zuurstof-waterstof frequentie van water. Water/effen interfaces zijn alomtegenwoordige en spelen een belangrijke rol in vele milieu, biofysische en technologische processen. Oplossen van de interne structuur en de dynamiek van de waterstofbrug (H-binding) van de watermoleculen geadsorbeerde op vaste oppervlakken sonderen zijn fundamentele kwesties van water wetenschap, die een grote uitdaging als gevolg van de lichte massa en de kleine grootte van waterstof blijft. Scanning tunneling microscopie (STM) is een veelbelovende instrument voor aanval op deze problemen, dankzij de mogelijkheden van sub-Ångström ruimtelijke resolutie, single-band vibrationele gevoeligheid en atomaire/moleculaire manipulatie.
