Il n’y a actuellement beaucoup d’intérêt en employant le métal-soufre solide, polarisable (e.g., métal-thiolate) Liens pour construire ouvrent des matériaux cadre avec électrocatalytique améliorée et des propriétés conductrices1,2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10. en plus de favoriser l’interaction électronique et transport à l’état étendu, les liens de métal-soufre mous et covalents donnent également une stabilité améliorée pour les applications dans un environnement aqueux. Parmi les blocs de construction équipé de soufre, symétriques, composantes aromatiques polycycliques multidentates comme 2,3,6,7,10,11-triphénylène hexathiol (HTT)9,11,12,13 , 14 non seulement fournir des électrons π fortement polarisables, mais offrent également des avantages distincts en ce qui concerne la conception du cadre et la synthèse. Tout d’abord, le noyau triphénylène rigide et symétrique, de concert avec les groupes dithiolène chélateur de HTT, sert à verrouiller les ions métalliques en motifs de liaison régulière, simplifiant la prédiction structurelle du futur réseau7, 15. ainsi que la géométrie rigide et ouverte de l’éditeur de liens de soufre, structures cadre doté de porosité importante peuvent souvent être réalisés à l’état solide.
Un des défis majeurs dans l’assemblage de matériaux dotés de thiol orangic ossature métallique (MOF) s’enracine dans la synthèse des molécules organiques de l’éditeur de liens. Dans un protocole classique, le groupe de thiol devait provenir du groupe phénol en utilisant le réarrangement de Newman-Kwart des O- aryl thiocarbamate précurseur16,17,18. Cette approche, cependant, implique élaborées étapes préparatives pour la molécule précurseur de phénol, mais aussi les complications possibles d’une transformation de phase solide à haute température. Une autre façon de faire des thiols utilise la désalkylation réductrice de thioéthers conditions difficiles de, par exemple, sodium métallique dans l’ammoniac liquide19,20,21,22et n’est pas compatible avec le carboxyle et de nombreuses autres fonctions de donateur pour la construction du réseau.
En comparaison, le protocole présenté ici a plusieurs avantages : sécurité, confort, rapport coût/efficacité et compatibilité avec les autres groupes fonctionnels (p. ex.., carbonitrile et pyridinyl). En chauffant vigoureusement l’halogénure aromatique généralement peu coûteux (e.g., hexabromotriphenylene) et thiométhylate anion, l’anion thiolate a été généré (via le produit intermédiaire de thioéther méthylique) et puis acylés à donner à l’écurie et facile à manipuler thioester produit-tout dans un pot.
Nous décrirons aussi une procédure pour utiliser les molécules thioester sous forme masquée des linkers thiol permettant d’accéder à un réseau de métal-dithiolène monocristallin semi-conductrices et poreux. Contrairement aux thiols autoportante très réactives, qui tendent à se décomposer et compliquer la cristallisation des cadres ouverts de métal-thiolate, thioester peut être facilement clivé (e.g., par NaOH ou éthylènediamine) sur place pour fournir le espèces de thiol, servant à atténuer la réaction entre les unités de mercaptan et les centres de métal et d’améliorer par conséquent la cristallisation.
Ce protocole de préparation de thiol/thioester n'a pas été largement utilisé par d’autres groupes pour le domaine émergent des cadres de métal-soufre, même si se nucléophile de thioéthers aryl alkyl par les anions thiolate déjà ont été bien documentés par organique chimistes23,24,25,26. En présentant cette méthode de synthèse efficace pour thioesters et leur utilisation pour faciliter la cristallisation des réseaux métal-soufre, nous voulons promouvoir des efforts supplémentaires pour combler le fossé intellectuel et pratique entre la chimie organique de synthèse et chimie de l’état solide, afin d’aider au développement rapide et sain des cadres poreux.

Nous présentons une méthode pour préparer les molécules thioester masqué consistant en les linkers thiol et leur utilisation pour l’accès à un réseau de métal-dithiolène semi-conducteur et poreux à l’état cristallin unique très ordonnée. À la différence des thiols autoportante très réactives, qui tendent à se décomposer et compliquer la cristallisation des cadres ouverts de métal-thiolate, thioester réagit sur place pour fournir l’espèce de thiol, servant à atténuer la réaction entre le unités de mercaptan et les centres de métal et d’améliorer par conséquent la cristallisation. Plus précisément, le thioester est synthétisé en une procédure d’un pot : un bromure aromatique (hexabromotriphenylene) a réagi avec excès de sodium thiométhylate conditions vigoureux pour former tout d’abord le produit intermédiaire de thioéthers. Les thioéthers était déméthylé puis par la thiométhylate excès de fournir l’anion thiolate qui est acylé pour former le produit thioester. Thioester est idéalement purifiée par chromatographie sur colonne standard et ensuite utilisé directement dans la synthèse de cadre, dans lequel le NaOH et éthylènediamine servent à revenir sur place le thioester à l’éditeur de liens de thiol pour assembler la monocristallin Pb (II)-réseau dithiolène. Comparé avec d’autres méthodes pour la synthèse de thiols (e.g., par clivage thioéther alkyle à l’aide de sodium métallique et liquide ammoniaque), la synthèse de thioester ici utilise des conditions simples et réactifs économiques. En outre, le produit thioester est stable et peut être facilement manipulé et stocké. Plus important encore, contrairement au générique difficile d’accéder à métal cristallin-thiolate cadres ouverts, nous démontrons que pour in situ à l’aide de thioester formation de l’éditeur de liens de thiol qui améliore grandement la cristallinité de l’état solide produit. Nous avons l’intention d’encourager les efforts de recherche plus larges sur les cadres de métal-soufre technologiquement importants en divulguant le protocole synthétique pour le thioester ainsi que le cadre cristallin solid.

Le spectre infrarouge de la molécule HVaTT (recueillie par la méthode de pastille de KBr) propose son absorption plus forte à 1 700 cm-1, conformément à l’étirement du carbonyle du groupe thioester fonctionnel. Le spectre 1H-RMN du HVaTT (400 MHz, CDCl3) révèle un singulet à δ 8.47 d’hydrogènes aromatiques, ainsi que 4 multiplets des protons aliphatiques : δ 8.47 (s, 6 H, CHAr), 2,75-2.72 (t, J = 7.4, 12 H, CH2), (m, 1,...
