In deze paper tonen wij strategieën om het produceren van waterafstotend oppervlakken op aluminium ondergronden. Bovendien tonen we methoden voor het karakteriseren van hun bevochtigende eigenschappen, ruwheid, duurzaamheid en prestaties van de anti-slagroom.
Ter voorbereiding van de SH-oppervlakken, we gebruikten twee strategieën. De eerste strategie opgenomen de juiste ruwheid mate om de intrinsieke hiërarchische structuur van SH oppervlakken door zure etsen. Dit proces is bijzonder kriti...

De mogelijkheid van superhydrophobic (SH) oppervlakken te weren van water is de reden dat ze traditioneel worden voorgesteld als een oplossing om te voorkomen dat KERS1,2. Echter, er zijn bezorgdheid over de geschiktheid van SH oppervlakken voor anti-slagroom agenten: 1) de hoge kosten van productie, 2) die superhydrophobicity niet altijd leidt tot ijs-phobicity3, en 3) de twijfelachtige duurzaamheid van de SH oppervlakken4 . Superhydrophobic oppervlakken bezit twee eigenschappen die zijn gerelateerd aan hun topografie en chemische samenstelling5: ze zijn ruw, met bijzondere topografische kenmerken; en hun oppervlakte-energie is laag (intrinsiek hydrofoob).
De ruwheid op een hydrophobic oppervlakte dient om de verhouding tussen het echte vaste stof-vloeistof-gebied en de schijnbare contactpunten. Het water is niet volledig in contact met de vaste stof als gevolg van de lotus effect6,7, wanneer de daling plaatst of naar de oppervlakte oneffenheden verplaatst. In dit scenario, de vaste stof-vloeistof-interface fungeert ongelijkmatig met twee chemische domeinen: het effen oppervlak zelf en de kleine luchtbellen gevangen tussen de vaste stof en water8. De mate van water-repellency is verbonden met de hoeveelheid ingesloten lucht omdat de lucht patches glad zijn en haar intrinsieke contacthoek 180 is °. Sommige studies rapporteren de opneming van een hiërarchische structuur van het oppervlak met micro- en nano-oneffenheden als de optimale strategie om te zorgen voor betere waterafstotende eigenschappen (grotere aanwezigheid van lucht bij de vaste stof-vloeistof-interface)9. Voor sommige metalen is een voordelige strategie voor het scheppen van twee niveaus ruwheid functies Zuur-etsing10,11. Deze procedure wordt vaak gebruikt in de industrie. Met bepaalde concentraties van zuur en etsen tijden blijkt de metalen oppervlak de juiste hiërarchische ruwheid. In het algemeen is de oppervlakte opruwen geoptimaliseerd door het variëren van de zuurconcentratie, ETS tijd of beide12. De oppervlakte-energie van metalen is hoog en daarom vereist de fabricage van waterafstotend metalen oppervlakken later hydrophobization.
Hydrophobization is over het algemeen bereikt door hydrofobe film afzetting met behulp van verschillende methoden: silanization10,13, duik-coating14, spin coating15,16 of plasma-depositie17 spuiten . Silanization is de voorgestelde18 als één van de meest veelbelovende instrument voor het verbeteren van de lage duurzaamheid van SH oppervlakken. In tegenstelling tot andere afzetting technieken, is het silanization-proces gebaseerd op een covalente binding tussen de Si-OH-groepen met de oppervlakte hydroxylgroepen van de metalen substraat10. Een nadeel van het silanization-proces is de behoefte aan vorige activering van de metalen coating genoeg hydroxylgroepen voor een hoge mate van dekking en uniformiteit te creëren. Een andere strategie onlangs voorgesteld te produceren resistente superhydrophobic oppervlakken is het gebruik van zeldzame aardmetalen coatings19,20. COOVI coatings hebben twee eigenschappen die dit gebruik rechtvaardigen: kunnen zij intrinsiek hydrofobe21, en ze zijn mechanisch en chemisch robuust. In het bijzonder, is een van de belangrijkste redenen waarom ze zijn gekozen als beschermende coatings hun capaciteiten corrosiebescherming20.
Voor de productie van langdurige SH metalen oppervlakken, twee kwesties worden beschouwd: de structuur van het oppervlak moet niet worden beschadigd, en de hydrofobe film/coating moet stevig worden verankerd op de ondergrond. Oppervlakken worden doorgaans blootgesteld te dragen ontstaan door zijdelingse slijtage of deeltje effect4. Als de oneffenheden zijn beschadigd, kan de water-repellency aanzienlijk worden verminderd. Onder extreme omgevingen, de hydrofobe coating kan gedeeltelijk worden verwijderd uit het oppervlak of chemisch kan worden afgebroken door de UV-blootstelling, vochtigheid of corrosie. Het ontwerp van duurzaam SH oppervlakken coatings is een belangrijke uitdaging voor coating en oppervlakte techniek.
Voor metalen, is een van de meest veeleisende eisen dat de anti-slagroom-mogelijkheid is gebaseerd op drie onderling verbonden aspecten22 , zoals geïllustreerd in Figuur 1: subcooled water-repellency, bevriezing vertraging en laag ijs wrijvingscoëfficiënt. Buiten ijsvorming optreedt wanneer subcooled water, meestal regen druppels, komt in aanraking met een harde ondergrond en is snel bevroren door heterogene nucleatie23. Het gevormde ijs (rime) is stevig aangesloten op het oppervlak. Dus, is de eerste stap om te voorkomen dat de slagroom te verminderen de contacttijd van solid-water. Als het oppervlak superhydrophobic is, kunnen de regendruppels worden verwijderd van het oppervlak vóór het invriezen. Bovendien, is het bewezen dat, onder vochtige omstandigheden, oppervlakken met een hoge contacthoek vertragen efficiënter dan die met een lage contacthoek24bevriezing. SH oppervlakken zijn deze twee redenen, de meest geschikte oppervlakken te verzachten van de slagroom. De levensduur van superhydrophobic oppervlakken kan evenwel een belangrijk punt aangezien slagroom voorwaarden meestal agressieve25 zijn. Sommige studies is gebleken dat SH oppervlakken niet de beste keuze zijn voor het verminderen van ijs hechting26. Eenmaal de ijs vormen op het oppervlak, het blijft stevig bijgevoegde toe te schrijven aan de oppervlakte oneffenheden. De ruwheid verhoogt de ijs-oppervlak contactpunten en de oneffenheden fungeren in elkaar grijpende agenten26. Het gebruik van duurzaam SH oppervlakken wordt aanbevolen om te voorkomen dat KERS als geen enkel spoor van ijs al aanwezig op het oppervlak.
In dit werk presenteren wij diverse protocollen voor de productie van duurzaam SH oppervlakken op metalen ondergronden. We gebruiken aluminium (Al) als het substraat, omdat het wijd in de industrie gebruikt wordt, en de opneming van anti-kers-vakantieverblijven is bijzonder relevant voor bepaalde toepassingen (ski resorts voorzieningen, lucht-en ruimtevaart, enz.). Wij bereiden drie soorten oppervlakken: een geborsteld oppervlak van de Al bedekt met een fluorpolymeer coating, een getextureerd oppervlak gesilaneerde van Al met een fluorosilane en een COOVI-Stearine zure dubbelgelaagde op een substraat Al. Soortgelijke technieken17,27,28,29 bieden 100-300 nm film diktes of zelfs enkelgelaagde films. Voor elk oppervlak, we gemeten hun bevochtigende eigenschappen en slijtage tests uitgevoerd. Ten slotte, geanalyseerd wij hun anti-slagroom-prestaties met behulp van de drie tests gericht op zelfstandig de drie eigenschappen afgebeeld in Figuur 1sonde.
Ons protocol is gebaseerd op de regeling die is afgebeeld in Figuur 2. Zodra de oppervlakken SH Al zijn voorbereid, worden hun bevochtigende eigenschappen en topografie geanalyseerd om te bepalen hun repellency eigenschappen en functies van de ruwheid. De bevochtigende eigenschappen worden geanalyseerd door stuiteren drop experimenten, die is een techniek die is aangesloten op de treksterkte hechting van water. Omdat de waarneming van drop stuitert vereist is, is deze techniek alleen geschikt voor superhydrophobic oppervlakken13. Voor elke oppervlaktebehandeling wij minstens vier monsters uit te voeren van de anti-slagroom proeven en een andere vier monsters voor het uitvoeren van de tests van de duurzaamheid. De schade na elke duurzaamheidstest werd geanalyseerd door het meten van het verlies van de bevochtiging van de eigenschappen en functies van de ruwheid. Soortgelijke duurzaamheid wordt gecontroleerd de voorgestelde degenen in dit werk onlangs voor andere metalen oppervlakken27,30 gebruikt werden.
Met betrekking tot de anti-slagroom proeven, het doel van deze studie is om te bepalen of het gebruik van de geproduceerde SH Al oppervlakken zijn handig als gemachtigden van de anti-slagroom. Dus, we geanalyseerd, ter vergelijking, de prestaties van twee controlemonsters: a) een onbehandelde Al monster (gladde hydrofiele monster) en b) een hydrophobized maar niet geweven monster (gladde hydrofobe monster). Voor hetzelfde doel, het gebruik van een bitmappatroon maar niet hydrophobized oppervlak van belang kan zijn. Helaas, dit oppervlak is uiterst spuitpoeders en anti-slagroom proeven niet kunnen worden uitgevoerd voor hen.

fabrication of superhydrophobic metal surfaces for anti-icing applications

Verschillende manieren om te produceren superhydrophobic metalen oppervlakken worden gepresenteerd in dit werk. Aluminium werd gekozen als de metalen ondergrond als gevolg van het brede gebruik ervan in de industrie. De spuitbaarheid van het geproduceerde oppervlak werd geanalyseerd door het stuiteren van de daling van de experimenten en de topografie werd geanalyseerd door confocale microscopie. Bovendien tonen we verschillende methoden voor het meten van de duurzaamheid en anti-slagroom eigenschappen. Superhydrophobic oppervlakken houdt een speciale structuur dat moet worden behouden om te houden van hun water-repellency. We hebben gevolgd om duurzaam oppervlakken, twee strategieën op te nemen een resistente textuur. De eerste strategie is een directe integratie van ruwheid op de metalen ondergrond door zure etsen. Na deze oppervlakte texturization, was de oppervlakte-energie daalden met silanization of fluorpolymeer afzetting. De tweede strategie is de groei van een laag COOVI (na oppervlakte texturization), die de oppervlakte hardheid en corrosie weerstand moet verbeteren. De oppervlakte-energie werd verlaagd met een film van stearinezuur.
De duurzaamheid van de superhydrophobic oppervlakken werd onderzocht door een deeltje botsproef, mechanische slijtage door zijdelingse slijtage en UV-ozon weerstand. De anti-slagroom eigenschappen werden onderzocht door het bestuderen van de mogelijkheid om intrekking van subcooled water, vertraging, bevriezing en ijs van de hechting.

De eigenschappen van het bedplassen en ruwheid van de SH-oppervlakken die in deze studie werden gebruikt, zijn afgebeeld in Figuur 5. Het gemiddelde aantal weigeringen voor elk monster gemeten wordt weergegeven in figuur 5a en de gemiddelde ruwheid is getoond in Figuur 5b.
