Rekombinant salgı ökaryotik proteinler yapısal ve biyokimyasal araştırmalar ifade etmek bilim adamları için bir mücadele vardı. Böcek hücre baculovirus-aracılı ifade sistem rekombinant ökaryotik salgı proteinler bazı translasyonel modifikasyonlar ile ifade etmek için kullanılan sistemlerinden biridir.
