A barreira hematoencefálica (BBB) é uma unidade neurovascular multicelular que regula fortemente a homeostase cerebral. Ao combinar iPSCs humanos e tecnologias de organ-on-chip, geramos um chip BBB personalizado, adequado para modelagem de doenças e previsões de penetrabilidade de medicamentos CNS. Um protocolo detalhado é descrito para a geração e operação do chip BBB.
