La barrera hematoencefálica (BBB) es una unidad neurovascular multicelular que regula estrechamente la homeostasis cerebral. Mediante la combinación de iPSC shumanos y tecnologías de órgano en chip, hemos generado un chip BBB personalizado, adecuado para el modelado de enfermedades y predicciones de penetrabilidad de fármacos del SNC. Se describe un protocolo detallado para la generación y el funcionamiento del chip BBB.
