Fluorescensaktiveret cellesortering-radioligandbehandlet væv (FACS-RTT) er et kraftfuldt værktøj til at studere rollen som 18 kDa translocatorprotein eller Serotonin 5HT 2A-receptorekspression i Alzheimers sygdom i cellulær skala. Denne protokol beskriver ex vivo-anvendelsen af FACS-RTT i TgF344-AD-rottemodellen.
