Ma jia pummelo는 중국 Jinagsu 지방의 지역 품종으로 크고 분홍색 과일, 풍부한 주스 함량, 새콤 달콤한 맛 및 두꺼운 껍질의 우수한 품질을 가지고 있습니다3. SI는 이종 교배를 촉진하지만, 과일의 수확량과 품질에 부정적인 영향을 미치며4 신뢰할 수 있는 과일 경화율과 높은 수확량을 위해 뚜렷한 SI 유전자형을 가진 적절한 수분 매개체 나무를 필요로 한다. 현재 SI에는 Brassicaceae로 대표되는 포자자기비적합성(SSI)과 장미과, 양귀비과, Rutaceae 및 Solanaceae로 대표되는 배우자생자부적합성(GSI)의 두 가지 주요 유형이 있습니다 5,6,7,8.
감귤류는 세계에서 가장 중요한 과일 작물 중 하나입니다. S-RNase 기반 GSI 시스템은 많은 감귤류 섭취에서 발견되며, 과실형성률에 부정적인 영향을 미친다9. 이 시스템에서, SI는 암술 S 결정인자와 꽃가루 S 결정인자를 운반하는 두 개의 복잡한 대립유전자를 갖는 단일 다형성 유전자 좌인 S 유전자좌에 의해 제어된다7. 여성 결정인자는 S 리보 뉴클레아제(S-RNase)이고 남성 결정인자는 S 유전자좌 F-box(SLF)7입니다. 암술의 세포는 S-RNase 단백질을 분비합니다. 비-자기 S-RNase는 SLF 단백질에 의해 인식되고, 이는 26S 프로테아좀 경로에 의한 비-자기 S-RNase의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해를 유도한다. 대조적으로, 자가 S-RNase는 SLF 단백질을 회피하기 때문에 꽃가루관(PT) 성장을 축적하고 억제할 수 있으며, 따라서 유비퀴틴화10,11,12,13을 방지할 수 있습니다.
