Inden for rammerne af min ph.d.-afhandling ved Institute of Electrical Measurement and Sensor Systems arbejder jeg med at evaluere miniaturiseringspotentialet for fototermiske gas- og aerosolsensorer. Der lægges stor vægt på at gøre fotoniske sensorer enten mere robuste og alsidige eller billige og miniaturiserede, men det er ret udfordrende at kombinere disse mål med den nødvendige selektivitet og følsomhed. Den største fordel ved vores protokol stammer fra metodens lette tilgængelighed.
Uden behov for et renrum eller specielle maskiner giver vores protokol mulighed for omkostningseffektiv prototyping med standard fotonisk udstyr. Vi håber, at vores protokol muliggør forskeres hurtige og nemme prototyper af flere etalonkonfigurationer på en tids- og omkostningseffektiv måde. Vi vil fortsætte med at arbejde på miniaturisering af fotoniske aerosol- og gassensorer.
Vi vil fokusere på nye sanseprincipper ved at udnytte samspillet mellem struktureret lys og struktureret stof.
