Для понимания сложных механизмов, присущих повреждению при трансплантации в печени, были разработаны надежные модели трансплантации мелких животных, чтобы повторить физиологию и патофизиологию повреждения аллотрансплантата. Трансплантация печени мыши сопряжена с рядом технических проблем, в том числе с малым диаметром сосудистого анастомоза и последующим риском тромбоза, приводящего к отторжению аллотрансплантата. Несмотря на то, что используются многие технологии, такие как ультразвуковая ангиография, микрокомпьютерная томография имеет преимущества, включая возможность получения изображений сосудистого анастомоза по всей брюшной полости с высоким разрешением.
Эти исследования могут быть выполнены в течение длительного времени для оценки проходимости сосудов и обильности печени с течением времени. Существует множество проблем при проведении точных и четких микро-КТ-ангиографических исследований у грызунов. Мы обнаружили, что использование сердечного стробирования и корректировка концентрации изофлурана для снижения частоты дыхания дают наиболее четкие изображения.
Мы также обнаружили, что использование специфичного для грызунов времени контраста для определенных фаз также улучшило визуализацию.
