<p> Deze resultaten geven aan dat mangaan heeft betreden via de voltage-gated calcium kanalen, en mangaan kan worden gebruikt als MRI contrastmiddel, dat ook kunnen laten zien van de levensvatbaarheid van de cellen. Daarom stellen wij voor dat mangaan-geleide MRI kan nuttig zijn om levensvatbaarheid van de cellen te controleren na de transplantatie van menselijke embryonale stamcellen in de hartspier. </p>

<p class="jove_content"> Menselijke embryonale stamcellen (hESC) hebben aangetoond over het vermogen om de gewonde myocard te herstellen. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) heeft ontpopt als een van de belangrijkste beeldvormende modaliteiten aan het herstel van de geblesseerde myocard te beoordelen. Verder zijn ex-vivo labeling middelen, zoals ijzer-oxide nanodeeltjes, in dienst op te sporen en te lokaliseren de getransplanteerde stamcellen. Echter, deze methode niet volgen van een fundamentele celbiologie eigendom met betrekking tot de levensvatbaarheid van de getransplanteerde cellen. Het is bekend dat mangaan chloride (MnCl <sub>2)</sub> van de cellen via de voltage-gated calcium (Ca <sup>2 +)</sup> kanalen wanneer de cellen zijn biologisch actief binnenkomt, en accumuleert intracellulair voor het genereren van T <sup>een</sup> verkorting effect. Daarom stellen wij voor dat mangaan-geleide MRI kan nuttig zijn om levensvatbaarheid van de cellen te controleren na de transplantatie van hESC in het myocard. </p><p class="jove_content"> In deze video laten we zien hoe de hESC label met MnCl <sub>2</sub> en hoe deze cellen is duidelijk te zien door gebruik te maken MRI in vitro. Op hetzelfde moment, biologische activiteit van Ca <sup>2 +-kanalen</sup> worden gemoduleerd gebruik te maken van zowel Ca <sup>2 +-kanaals</sup> agonist en antagonist co-signaal veranderingen te evalueren. </p>
