Department of Clinical Neuroscience

Karolinska Institutet

I obtained my double Ph.D. from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, and East China Normal University, China (2016-2019). In October 2019, I joined the Emotion Lab as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet. In November 2021, I started as an assistant professor at the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, Zhejiang University, China.

My research interests are in the areas of human social interactions. More specifically, my research focuses on how brain-to-brain coupling across individuals tracks (and underlies) interpersonal cooperation, decision-making, learning, and other high-level social processes. I use behavioral, electrophysiological (EEG), neuroimaging (fNIRS, MEG), and neuro-modulation (tACS) methods, combined with the interpersonal neuroscience approach (i.e., the measurement and modulation of multiple brains simultaneously), to investigate the neural mechanisms that mediate human social behaviors.
