Javier García González is a PhD student in the department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Linköping University, Sweden. He received his bachelor´s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Carlos III University in Madrid, Spain. Afterwards, he completed a master´s degree in Experimental and Medical Biosciences at Linköping University.
His multidisciplinary and technical background allowed him to join Dr. Frank Hernández research group, which aims at developing novel and improved diagnostic technologies. As a doctoral student, he now strives to develop nucleic acid-based technologies for the early detection and diagnosis of different types of cancer in close collaboration with renowned clinicians at Linköping´s University Hospital.
