Dr. Hailong Li is a member of Dr. Booze’s and Dr. Mactutus’s research team. Dr. Li has been working in the field of biomedical basis of Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and other neurocognitive disorders, also including HIV-1 and drugs of abuse.

Dr. Li is currently Research Associate in the USC Department of Psychology – Behavioral Neuroscience. Dr. Li received his MD & PhD from Dalian Medical University, China. During 2007 to 2010, he started his post-doctoral fellowship at Department of Surgery in University of Missouri. From 2010, Dr. Li had been a Research Associate at Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center in University of Missouri until he moved in September 2014 to the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Li has more than 50 papers published in peer-reviewed leading scientific journals of Scientific Report; JBC; J Cereb Blood Flow Metab.; ASN Neuro; J Inflammation; Int. J. Mol. Med.; Am J Respir Crit Care Med.; BMC Neuroscience, etc. He is a member of Society for Neuroscience (Sfn), and American Society For Neurochemistry (ASN).
