Qiang Kou received his bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Sun Yat-sen University, China and obtained his PhD in bioinformatics from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). His PhD research focused on algorithm design and software development for top-down mass spectrometry.
