Jungmin Yoo is an assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration, Duksung Women's University in Seoul, South Korea. She received her Ph.D. from Oregon State University. She also worked at East Carolina University in Greenville North Carolina, as an assistant professor.
Dr. Yoo have been interested in effective marketing strategies that positively influence consumer decision making in digital commerce. To pursue her research interests, she studied in product presentation in digital retailing, the effects of brand image consistency between offline and online stores, luxury consumption behavior, mental imagery process in decision making, and effects of marketing technology such as e-mass customization, AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) on consumer responses.
With a research grant from the National Research Foundation of South Korea, her current consumer research project aims to develop an innovative consumer decision-making model in digital retailing context through employing qualitative and quantitative approaches.
