Department of Chemistry
Nhu Q. Vu received a B.S. in biochemistry from California State University, Fullerton in 2017 where she characterized molecular fingerprints using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry under the supervision of Professor Lingjun Li at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her present work involves characterizing neuropeptide structure, quantity, and localization. She is currently developing peptide-centric sample preparation and quantitative labeling procedures for MS analysis, as well as improving data analysis strategies for neuropeptide identification.
