Minghu Jiang received the Ph.D. degree in Signal and Information Processing from Beijing Jiaotong University in 1998. From May, 1998 to April, 2000, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the State Key Lab of Intelligent Technology & Systems, at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Then he became an associate professor and faculty member of Computer Science, Cognitive Science and Computational Linguistics at Tsinghua University. From December, 2000 to December, 2001, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. From July to September, 2005, he was a visiting professor at interdisciplinary center for scientific computing (IWR), University of Heidelberg, Germany. Currently, he is a professor of Tsinghua University. He is the author or co-author of more than 150 published papers in journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include language cognition, artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
