Zoe received her BA in biology with honors from Lewis & Clark College, where she did her thesis research on combining near-infrared fluorescent proteins with multicolor Brainbow expression in zebrafish. She now works in Dr. Tamily Weissman’s lab, where she uses in vivo imaging in zebrafish to study nervous system development and function. Her research interests include the role of clonal relationships in neurogenesis and the effect of phosphorylation of the alpha-synuclein protein on its aggregation in neurodegenerative disease.
