To begin, clean the selected patient's face with a cleanser and using a skin detector, perform the skin test. Apply the compound lidocaine cream externally to the treatment area. After 40 minutes, wash the entire face with water and dry it with sterile gauze.
Next, choose the resurface mode on the 1565 nanometer non-ablative fractional laser device for the treatment. In the energy setting key, set the energy level between 30 and 40 millijoules and adjust the density setting between 200 and 300 spots per square centimeter. Then have the patient lie comfortably on the treatment bed with the doctor sitting at the head end of the bed.
Wipe the entire treatment area on the patient's face with Iodophor. After removing the iodine with sterile saline, dry the area with sterile gauze. With a 75%alcohol pad, disinfect the treatment head of the device.
Next, cover the patient's eyes with an eye mask. Choose the appropriate spot size and shape on the device interface and click ready. Gently place the treatment head on the patient's skin surface and press the trigger button.
Release the trigger button after the treatment prompt sound stops. Lift the handle and proceed to the next spot for the treatment, taking all the precautions. Once the face is treated, click standby on the instrument treatment interface and immediately apply 30%supramolecular salicylic acid to the entire face.
Wearing latex gloves, gently massage the face in a circular motion with fingers to promote absorption. Rinse the face with physiological saline immediately when the endpoint reaction appears or within 10 minutes of application. For post-treatment care, apply cold saline gauze to the patient's face for 30 minutes followed by moisturizing and repairing products.
A significant improvement in facial pores and wrinkles was observed in laser alone therapy, as well as the combined therapy with salicylic acid treatment. However, a more effective reduction in redness was evident after the combined therapy by day 30. The clinical scoring for female facial aging also indicated significant benefits from both the treatments with the combination therapy achieving better outcomes than the laser alone.
