Professor Philippe Millet is a biophysics scientist, head of the translational imaging laboratory in psychiatric neurosciences, Division of Adult Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry, University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). Prof. Millet is an assistant professor and group leader at the Faculty of Medicine (Department of Psychiatry, University of Geneva, UNIGE, https://www.unige.ch/medecine/psyat/en/research-groups/983millet/). Prof. Millet’s areas of expertise include PET and SPECT neuroreceptor imaging, mathematical modelling of biological processes and their application in parametric imaging. A major part of his work consists of developing and validating mathematical methods to quantify the biological parameters measured using PET and SPECT data in humans and rodents. Prof. Millet developed, in collaboration with the departments mentioned above, a multimodal imaging platform for small animal research. At HUG, Prof. Millet has led a wide range of research projects, all supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
