Wir möchten Linus D. Sonne und Jeenah Jung, der den Einsatz von Computer entworfene, 3-D Druck-Laufwerke in unserem Labor für die Aufnahme von Mäusen stammten anzuerkennen. Chronische Aufnahme von großen Populationen von Neuronen ist eine wertvolle Technik für die Untersuchung der Funktion neuronaler Schaltkreise in wach verhalten Ratten. Lightweight Aufnahmegeräte Durchführung einer hochdichten Anordnung von Tetroden ermöglichen die gleichzeitige Überwachung der Tätigkeit der Dutzende bis Hunderte von einzelnen Neuronen. Hier beschreiben wir ein Protokoll für die Herstellung von Mikro-Laufwerk-Array mit 21 unabhängig voneinander beweglichen Mikro-Laufwerke. Dieses Gerät wurde erfolgreich von Hippocampus und kortikalen Neuronen in unserem Labor Datensatz verwendet. Wir zeigen, wie eine maßgeschneiderte, 3-D gedruckt Kunststoffboden, dass die Mikro-Antriebe halten vorbereiten. Wir zeigen, wie die einzelnen Mikro-Laufwerke erstellen und wie Sie die komplette Mikro-Laufwerk-Array zu montieren. Weitere Vorbereitung des Laufwerk-Array für die chirurgische Implantation, wie die Herstellung von Tetroden, das Laden von Tetroden in das Laufwerk-Array und Vergoldung, wird in einem nachfolgenden Video Artikel behandelt.
