<p class="jove_content">La chirurgie des rongeurs est souvent un élément important dans l&#39;évaluation de l&#39;utilité de tissus d&#39;ingénierie. Une grande variété de procédures chirurgicales peuvent être effectuées sur des rats ou des souris de laboratoire courants et ces très souvent servir d&#39;étape intermédiaire entre paillasse expériences et essais sur les animaux ou les grands essais sur les humains. Étant donné que les rongeurs fournir un système modèle établi, rentable, et physiologiquement pertinente permettant de tester de nouvelles combinaisons de matériaux d&#39;échafaudage et les cellules, ils sont particulièrement bien adapté pour les études cardiovasculaires ingénierie tissulaire. Actuellement, nous décrivons une procédure chirurgicale à cœur ouvert pour implanter l&#39;ingénierie tissulaire contenant des cellules progénitrices myogéniques dans le auriculo-ventriculaire (AV) sillon d&#39;un coeur de rat. Ces implants sont destinés à créer un conduit électrique entre l&#39;oreillette droite et le ventricule droit dans le but ultime d&#39;offrir un traitement alternatif à l&#39;implantation du stimulateur classique chez les patients pédiatriques présentant un bloc auriculo-ventriculaire complet [1]. L&#39;ingénierie tissulaire est implanté dans l&#39;AV-sillon au moyen d&#39;un thoracotomie. Pour nos besoins, des rats Lewis sont anesthésiés et ventilés afin de maintenir invasive en pression positive durant la procédure chirurgicale stérile. L&#39;approche du cœur est réalisée par une thoracotomie droite à travers une incision antéro-latérale à la 5<sup&gt; E</supL&#39;espace&gt; intercostaux. La construction du tissu est fixé dans la rainure AV à l&#39;aide d&#39;une seule suture Prolène 7-0 et positionné entre le ventricule droit et l&#39;oreillette à la partie ventrale du cœur. L&#39;épicarde est partiellement enlevée pour permettre le contact direct entre les cellules réceptrices du myocarde et ceux contenus dans le génie tissulaire. Après l&#39;implantation, la paroi thoracique est fermé dans les couches, les pneumothorax est évacuée, et l&#39;animal est extubé et traités avec analgésique.</p>
