<p class="jove_content">İş akışı downstream mikrobiyal topluluk için kıyı deniz sularında, besin ve iz gaz analizleri toplanması ile başlar. Bu yöntem için Saanich&#39;dan Giriş HMS John Strickland işletim güverte, örnekler toplandı. Su sütunu çapı 0.22μm ve 2.7μm arasında değişen mikrobiyal biyokütle Bu video belgeleri büyük hacimli filtrasyon (≥ 20 L). İki 20L örnekleri dört dönen başkanları ile donatılmış tek bir pompa ünitesi kullanılarak aynı anda filtre edilebilir. Filtreleme alanında uzun yolculuklar yapılabilir, ya da hemen günübirlik geziler için döndükten sonra. Her bir sterivex filtre ünitesi üzerinden geçen su miktarını kaydetmek için önemlidir. Örnekleme gezileri arasında biyofilm oluşumunu önlemek için tüm filtrasyon ekipmanları seyreltik HCl ve deiyonize su ile durulanır ve kullanımdan hemen sonra otoklava olmalıdır. Bu işlem yaklaşık 5 saat artı temizlik için ek bir saat sürer.</p>
