studying aggression in drosophila (fruit flies)

L&#39;agression est un comportement inné qui a évolué dans le cadre de la défense ou l&#39;obtention de ressources. Ce comportement social complexe est influencé par des facteurs génétiques, hormonaux et environnementaux. Dans de nombreux organismes, l&#39;agressivité est essentielle à la survie, mais l&#39;agression contrôle et de répression dans des contextes distincts est également devenu plus important. Ces dernières années, les invertébrés sont devenus de plus en plus utiles comme systèmes modèles pour étudier la base génétique et les systèmes biologiques des comportements sociaux complexes. Ceci est dû en partie au répertoire diversifié de comportements manifestés par ces organismes. Dans la vidéo qui l&#39;accompagne, nous décrivons une méthode pour analyser l&#39;agressivité chez la drosophile dont la conception englobe importantes contraintes éco-éthologiques. Détails inclure des mesures pour: faire une chambre de combat; isoler et de peinture mouches; ajoutant mouches dans la chambre de combattre, et se bat enregistrement vidéo. Cette approche est actuellement utilisée pour identifier les gènes candidats importants dans l&#39;agression et à l&#39;élaboration du circuit neuronal qui sous-tend la sortie d&#39;agression et d&#39;autres comportements sociaux.
