Små djur magnetresonans (MR) forskning har vuxit fram som en viktig del av modern biomedicinsk forskning på grund av dess icke-invasiva karaktär och den rika biologiska information som tillhandahålls. MR kräver ingen joniserande strålning och kan noninvasivt ge högre upplösning och bättre signal-brus-förhållande i jämförelse med andra tomografiska eller spektroskopiska metoder. I detta protokoll kommer vi att fokusera på små djur MR och MR spektroskopi (MR / MRS) till noninvasivt förvärva avslappning vägda<sup&gt; 1</sup&gt; H bilder av mus och få<sup&gt; 31</sup&gt; P spektra av musen muskler. Detta arbete är inte att täcka alla aspekter av små djur MRT / MRS utan snarare presenterar grundläggande procedurer av mus MR / MRS experiment. Huvudsyftet med detta arbete är att informera forskare av de grundläggande rutiner för<em&gt; In vivo</em&gt; MR försök på små djur.
