Electromyogram משטח (EMG), במיוחד כאשר נרשם ליד צומת neuromuscular, צפוי להכיל את הפוטנציאל endplate (EPP) רכיב אשר ניתן לחלץ עם מסנן האות המתאים. שני גורמים חשובים: EMG חייב להיות מוקלט באופן monopolar, ואת ההקלטה חייבת להיעשות כך את האות בתדר נמוך המתאים EPP לא מתבטל. דו&quot;ח זה מסביר כיצד לחלץ את רכיב EPP מ-EMG של שריר masseter בנושא אנושי. משטח EMG נרשם משמונה אתרים באמצעות אלקטרודות דיסק מסורתיים מיושר יחד מעל השריר, עם מרחק אלקטרודה בין שווים לקשת הזיגומטית לזווית של הלסת התחתונה בתגובה הידוק מסטיק מהירה. אלקטרודה הפניה ממוקם על קצה האף. רכיב EPP מופק EMGs גלם ידי החלת גבוהה לחתוך פילטר דיגיטלי (2 מימד מסנן Butterworth) עם טווח של 10-35 הרץ. כאשר המסנן מוגדר הרץ 10, המחולץ EPP גל מסיט שלילי או חיובי בהתאם לאתר את ההקלטה. ההבדל הקוטביות משקף את היחס כיור מקור הזרם הצלחת בסוף, עם אתר המראה את הסטייה השלילית ביותר המקביל לצומת neuromuscular. במקרה של שריר masseter, צומת neuromuscular מוערך ממוקם בחלק נחות קרוב הזווית של הלסת התחתונה. המרכיב EPP תערוכות תנודה מעניינת כאשר תדר חתך של high-לחתוך דיגיטלי מסנן מוגדר הרץ 30. תנודה EPP מציין כי התכווצות שרירים מותאם בצורה רציפה. רעידות חריגה המלווה מסוגים שונים של מחלות יכול להיות בגלל תנודה משמעותית זו EPP, אשר הופך איטי יותר קשה להפסיק.
