<p class="jove_content">, Pek çok diğer türler ile birlikte insan genom dizisinin tamamlanması, belirli bir işlevi olmayan kodlama dizileri vermenin zorluk ön plana çıkarmıştır. Bir genomun olmayan kodlama fraksiyonu tarafından yürütülen önemli bir fonksiyonu gen transkripsiyonu düzenleyen, ancak genel olarak birincil DNA dizisi cis-düzenleyici unsurları tahmin etmek için etkili yöntemler vardır.
