Laser Speckle Imagem Contraste (LSCI) é uma técnica simples e poderosa que é utilizado para full-campo de imagem do fluxo sanguíneo. A técnica de análise de flutuações em um padrão de speckle dinâmico para detectar o movimento de partículas semelhante ao laser Doppler como analisa as mudanças de freqüência para determinar a velocidade das partículas. Porque pode ser usado para monitorar o movimento das células vermelhas do sangue, LSCI se tornou uma ferramenta popular para medir o fluxo sangüíneo nos tecidos, como a retina, pele e cérebro.
