quantitation of &gamma;h2ax foci in tissue samples

DNA dubbel-breuken (DSB&#39;s) zijn bijzonder dodelijk en genotoxische letsels, die kan ontstaan ​​door endogene (fysiologische of pathologische) processen of door exogene factoren, met name ioniserende straling en radiomimetische verbindingen. Fosforylatie van de H2A histon-variant, H2AX, op de serine-139 residu, in de zeer geconserveerd C-terminale SQEY motief, de vorming van γH2AX, is een vroege reactie op DNA-dubbel-breuken<sup&gt; 1</sup&gt;.
