<p class="jove_content" style=";text-align:right;direction:rtl"> הזרקה תוך גולגולתי של וקטורים ויראליים שהונדסו חלבון פלואורסצנטי היא טכניקה תיוג תכליתי עבור להדמיה של תת מסוימים של תאים באזורים שונים במוח הן <em>in vivo</em> ו בסעיפים המוח. בניגוד הזרקה של צבעי ניאון, תיוג ויראלי מציעה המיקוד של סוגי תאים בודדים הוא זול יותר זמן רב יותר מאשר הקמת קווי עכבר מהונדס. בטכניקה זו, adeno הקשורים וקטור ויראלי (AAV) מוזרק intracranially באמצעות קואורדינטות stereotaxic, micropipette ואת משאבת אוטומטיות למסירה מדויקת של AAV לאזור הרצוי עם נזק מינימלי לרקמות שמסביב. פרמטרים של הזרקה ניתן להתאים את הניסויים הפרט על ידי התאמת גיל החיה בקצב הזרקה, מיקום הזריקה, עוצמת הזריקה, של הזרקה, AAV סרוטיפ ואת האמרגן נהיגה ביטוי גנים. בהתאם לתנאי הנבחר, virally-Induced ביטוי transgene יכול לאפשר ויזואליזציה של קבוצות של תאים, תאים בודדים או תהליכים תאיים בסדר, עד לרמה של הקוצים הדנדריטים. הניסוי שמוצג כאן מציג זריקה של AAV פעמיים תקועים לבטא חלבון פלואורסצנטי ירוק עבור תיוג של גליה נוירונים בקליפת המוח החזותית העיקרי בעכבר. </p>
