Protocole expérimental Une fois que l&#39;immunogène hypophyse est préparé (voir article connexe), il est injecté par voie sous cutanée dans des souris SJL (Les Jackson Laboratories, stock 000686). Hypophysite auto-immunes peuvent être reproduits expérimentalement par l&#39;injection de protéines pituitaires mélangé à un adjuvant dans des souris sensibles 1. Des modèles murins nous permettra d&#39;étudier comment les maladies se dérouler, offrant souvent une bonne réplique des mêmes processus survenant chez les humains. Pour certaines maladies auto-immunes, comme le diabète de type 1A, il existe des modèles (la souris NOD) qui développent spontanément une maladie similaire à l&#39;homologue humain. Pour beaucoup d&#39;autres maladies auto-immunes, cependant, le modèle doit être induite expérimentalement. Une approche commune à cet égard consiste à injecter de la souris avec un antigène dominant dérivé de l&#39;organe étudié. Par exemple, les enquêteurs s&#39;intéressent à injecter de thyroïdite auto-immune des souris avec de la thyroglobuline 2, et ceux qui s&#39;intéressent à la myasthénie les injecter avec le récepteur 3 acétylcholine. Si l&#39;autoantigène pour une maladie auto-immune particulière n&#39;est pas connu, les enquêteurs injecter un extrait protéique brut de l&#39;organe ciblé par la réaction auto-immune.
